An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician to join a dedicated team. This is a hands-on role working across both workshop and onsite environments in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
聽
The ideal candidate will play a key role in dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment, while maintaining strict adherence to health and safety requirements and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Key Responsibilities:
路Dismantle various types of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and screens.
路Inspect dismantled components, perform tolerance measurements, and assess repair requirements.
路Fault-find mechanical equipment using specialist tools.
路Carry out repairs and refurbishments under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
路Work on Water Utility, Power Industry, Food, Paper, Petroleum, and Government sites as part of a mechanical and electrical team.
路Remove and install mechanical equipment onsite, working in environments such as at height, confined spaces, sewerage, and potable water.
Desired Skills & Qualifications (Not Essential):
路Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship (Water Utilities or Power Industry experience is advantageous).
路Full UK driving licence.
路Understanding of onsite health and safety rules and regulations.
路Confined space training or knowledge (training available if needed).
路Water hygiene knowledge or training (training available if needed).
路Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
路Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
