We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a well established school for a maternity cover position starting in January 2025. Based in Chichester, this school is committed to fostering language skills and cultural awareness within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Role Overview:- Position: Secondary MFL Teacher (French and/or Spanish)
- Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
- Contract: Temporary (maternity cover), approximately one year
- Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, focusing on French and/or Spanish.
- Create a positive, interactive learning environment that supports students' language development in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Work collaboratively within the MFL department to maintain high teaching standards and ensure curriculum consistency.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism: Proficiency in French and/or Spanish, with proven experience teaching at the secondary level.
- Skills: Strong communication, effective classroom management, and a genuine passion for language teaching.
