Job Opportunity: Family Solicitor / Dispute Resolution

Location: Chichester, West Sussex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically strong Family Solicitor to join a forward-thinking and commercially successful firm based in Chichester. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in private family law who is looking to advance their career in a growing department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling a mixed caseload focused on divorce and financial remedy matters
  • Developing new client relationships and maintaining an existing network
  • Providing high-quality service and building long-standing client relationships
  • Collaborating with team members while also working independently as needed
  • Prioritising workloads in a fast-paced environment

About You:

  • A solid technical background in all areas of private family law
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (3-5 PQE preferred)
  • Proven ability to win and retain clients, with a strong network in Chichester and surrounding areas—or a track record of success from outside the region
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • A self-motivated attitude, resilience under pressure, and adaptability to business demands
  • Willingness to contribute to the department’s growth and success
