- Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering or Quality Management (BEng, HND, CQI, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis)
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing quality issues
- Conducting quality audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Investigating and resolving quality issues and non-conformances
- Collaborating with production teams to improve quality processes and reduce defects
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Managing the quality management system (QMS) and maintaining accurate documentation
- Providing training and guidance to staff on quality standards and procedures
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to address quality-related concerns
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
