Bennett & Game are seeking an Assistant M&E Manager to join an M&E department of a Main Contractor, based in Chichester, working on projects internationally. The Assistant M&E Manager will be supporting the delivery of our projects internally and externally. Projects are located world-wide and are of a commercial nature including; office refurbishments, fitouts etc. Values range from £10k to £1m+. This position is best suited to a person that has been on the tools but looking for the move into the office but will still be involved in the onsite works leading our engineers and showing them what good works looks like / ensuring standards to BS7671 are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to progress their career while working on some amazing projects. Around 50 days per year will be spent traveling worldwide with the rest of the time spent in the UK.

Assistant M&E Manager Position Overview

  • Managing and assisting in the delivery of the electrical elements of a variety of construction related projects from inception to completion.
  • Supporting the procurement and logistics of our projects.
  • Arranging and undertaking electrical surveys
  • Support the overseeing of the procurement, management and installation of electrical works.
  • Visiting location with our electrical teams to show level of detail we require at the start and during projects.
  • Supporting the Project Management team with programme input to deliver the projects on time.
  • Supervise/oversee the design coordination of the electrical installations
  • Supporting in the preparation and development of tenders / take offs

Assistant M&E Manager Position Requirements

  • Commercial electrical experience essential
  • ECS Gold Card desirable
  • 2931 test and inspect or equivalent desirable
  • BS5839-1/6 Knowledge (not essential)
  • Must hold a valid UK passport, have lived the last 5 years in the UK for Security Clearance reasons
  • Able to work in Chichester
  • Clean criminal history for security clearance reasons
