- Who have a wide range of experience of working with children and young people across the age ranges (from 0-25) around 40% of the case load are pre-school children
- Who have experience of providing advice and support for schools on provision and strategies to support a wide range of need across the four areas of need: Cognition and learning ranging from severe learning difficulties to specific difficulties; language and social communication difficulties, a high proportion children with work with are autistic both with significant impairments and those that are higher functioning ; medical and sensory difficulties; and those with social emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Who have worked in a range of schools working at the individual level and also at a whole school level to support schools/settings to implement evidenced based effective interventions to promote psychological wellbeing and educational outcomes.
- Evidence of applying person centred approaches to work with children their families and schools to undertake individual assessment and undertake consultation and training.
- British Psychological Society (BPS) recognised first degree in psychology.Ā
- A Doctorate or Masterās degree in Educational Psychology, and eligibility for chartered status within the British Psychological Society.
- HCPC registration
- Recent successful training or experience as an Educational Psychologist
- Substantial relevant experience working with children in education or childrenās services or both
- Enhanced DBS check
