Bennett & Game are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a Main Contractor, based in Chichester. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be working both in the UK and Worldwide on a variety of commercial projects ranging from £50k to £10M+ inclusive of; fitout, refurbishment and D&B. Locations include; London, Europe, Asia, Middle-East and Africa with around 10-20 days per year to be spent travelling overseas for site visits etc.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be; assisting in the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion, preparing tender documentation, attending project meetings to manage sub-contractors and consultants, support with the procurement and logistics, assist with final accounts and CVR's.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Degree etc.) in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction and will ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience. However, candidates fresh from education will be considered as long as they have the right attitude and work ethic.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction (HNC, HND, Degree etc.)
  • Ideally hold some industry experience (not essential)
  • Must hold a valid UK Passport and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years for security clearance reasons
  • Driving licence desirable but not essential if able to commute to Chichester
  • Excellent work ethic with desire for career progression
  • Professional & Presentable due to being client facing
