Job Title: Lettings Property Manager Location: ChichesterSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOEHours: Monday - Friday 9-6pmAbout the Role:Our clients are seeking a skilled and proactive Lettings Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of rental properties while also taking on other lettings responsibilities. In this  role, you will ensure the smooth management of tenancies, maintain high levels of landlord and tenant satisfaction, and play an active part in the rental process by negotiating offers and securing tenancies. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to combine their property management expertise with direct involvement in the lettings process.Key Responsibilities:
  • Property Management: Oversee a portfolio of let properties, ensuring all tenancies are administered efficiently and in compliance with current legislation and company policies.
  • Tenant and Landlord Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, addressing queries, coordinating repairs and maintenance work, and ensuring a prompt resolution of issues.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that properties meet all regulatory requirements, including safety certifications and tenancy documentation. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on internal systems.
  • Renewals and Rent Reviews: Manage tenancy renewals, negotiate new rental terms where appropriate, and handle rent reviews to maintain favourable landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Lettings Negotiation: Assist with sourcing prospective tenants, conducting viewings, and negotiating offers. Work closely with the wider lettings team to ensure a seamless move-in process.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Demonstrable experience in property management, ideally within the lettings sector.
  • Familiarity with lettings legislation, compliance standards, and tenancy agreements.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
