- Property Management: Oversee a portfolio of let properties, ensuring all tenancies are administered efficiently and in compliance with current legislation and company policies.
- Tenant and Landlord Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, addressing queries, coordinating repairs and maintenance work, and ensuring a prompt resolution of issues.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that properties meet all regulatory requirements, including safety certifications and tenancy documentation. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on internal systems.
- Renewals and Rent Reviews: Manage tenancy renewals, negotiate new rental terms where appropriate, and handle rent reviews to maintain favourable landlord-tenant relationships.
- Lettings Negotiation: Assist with sourcing prospective tenants, conducting viewings, and negotiating offers. Work closely with the wider lettings team to ensure a seamless move-in process.
- Demonstrable experience in property management, ideally within the lettings sector.
- Familiarity with lettings legislation, compliance standards, and tenancy agreements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
