Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Secondary School Cover Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teachers, ensuring that they are engaged in meaningful learning activities and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of their regular teachers
  • Ensure that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
  • Manage student behavior effectively
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
  • Uphold school policies and standards

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage student behavior effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting
  • A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential

We require candidates to be able to work at least 3 days per week.
