The Opportunity:

1to1 Group is proud to partner with a leading homeless charity, supporting both adults and young people in need. We are currently looking to recruit relief workers to provide crucial support at the charity's hostels and day centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer practical and emotional support to individuals facing homelessness, providing guidance on housing, employment, and welfare benefits.
  • Assist clients in developing essential life skills, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care, to help them gain independence.
  • Provide crisis intervention and safeguarding support when necessary.
  • Help clients manage their finances, including budgeting, debt resolution, and navigating benefits.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to track progress toward independence.
  • Facilitate access to education, training, and employment to support long-term stability.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals.
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding practices.
  • Familiarity with housing and welfare legislation.
  • Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including waking nights.
