Workplace Support Worker and Advocate, ChichesterPay rate £17.64 per hour Contract roles, part-time (up to 24 hours per week) - long term contract until February 2027 The purpose of this role is to support, empower and enable a member of staff that has Asperger’s syndrome to undertake their role at WSCC, fulfil their potential and thrive.  This role reports into WSCC’s EDI Lead, and involves direct work with a colleague, listening to them, championing their rights, ensuring these are respected, helping them have their say, and supporting them to express their views and opinions.  This could involve preparing and supporting them with important meetings, advocating for them, supporting with communication challenges, supporting the individual to engage in and maximise training, learning and development opportunities, helping the individual to manage stress or overwhelm, supporting the individual with learning new tasks as set by the individual’s manager, and support the individual to put themselves forward for opportunities and providing help and support in relation to applying for different jobs.  The role will require flexible working to meet the varying needs of the individual, where the demand may change week by week, depending on the support required. Please contact Molly Rylance on or email for more information.
