Reed Brighton is delighted to be partnering with a BTA Travel Agency and a Coach Tour Operator based in West Sussex who are seeking a Travel Agency Manger to join their vibrant team. This is customer facing role, working hours are 40 per week to include alternate Saturdays. Working pattern is advised monthly in advance by way of the rota.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee travel agency activities, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Sell coach holidays, day excursions, cruises, and package holidays, while managing associated administration tasks.
- Maintain a good telephone manner and provide detailed attention to customer inquiries and bookings.
- Liaise with cruise lines to arrange promotions, visits, and represent Woods at conferences and events.
- Work flexibly and adapt to a dynamic sales environment, handling tasks efficiently and with a positive attitude.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Travel Agency Manager.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner.
- Attention to detail and a flexible manner.
- Experience in both travel agency and coach tour operations.
- Familiarity with ABTA regulations and standards.
