Brilliant opportunity to work as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for our client Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, at their pristine automotive manufacturing plant, based in Westhampnett, West Sussex.

The rate of pay starts at £20.72 per hour up to £22.99 per hour.

Overtime premiums are available.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, working rotating shifts, the hours of work are:

- 6am to 3:30pm
- 2:20pm to 11:50pm

Experience in a similar role is required.

Your Time at Work

As a Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

- Providing proactive and reactive hands-on fault-finding and technical support in order to resolve quality, efficiency, and complex problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Dynamic resolution of facility issues
- Continually train for new equipment and deliver training to team members.
- Reactive resolution of breakdowns
- Develop preventative measures
- Completion of planned maintenance
- Small-scale fabrication work for the manufacturing teams
- Manufacture and develop process tooling and manufacturing aids
- Monitor key facility performance
- HSE requirements
- Monitor critical process elements
- Liaise with manufacturing to improve facility performance

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Maintenance Technician will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

- Relevant time served Apprenticeship/equivalent academic qualifications coupled with relevant hands-on practical experience.
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault diagnosis.
- Expert knowledge of process technology and evidence of decision-making.
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of PC, Windows, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Be flexible, innovative and enjoy working with the latest technologies.
- You will have the drive to continuously improve processes.
- Be a keen team player who likes to make a difference.
- The ability to work on electrical circuits between 24 VDC-400 VAC.
- The ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Welding, milling, and turning experience desired but not essential.

Experience in a similar role is required.
