Due to continued growth I am supporting a fantastic business in Chigwell to recruit a permanent Credit Controller. This is an office-based role where you will join a warm and interpersonal team and report into a brilliant Credit Manager. You will be tasked with minimising bad-debt provisions and therefore taking a methodical approach to ensuring provisions are limited by speaking with accounts to resolve issues. Duties:

  • Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and handling overdue invoices.
  • Evaluating creditworthiness of new and existing clients to set credit limits and terms.
  • Contacting clients by phone, email, or letter to resolve overdue accounts.
  • Ensuring that customer payment records align with company financial systems.
  • Preparing reports for management on overdue accounts and outstanding balances.
  • Collaborating with sales and finance departments to resolve customer payment issues and disputes.

The successful candidate will be experienced in a similar working environment and have at least 2 years experience within credit control or similar. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to resolve queries and have an investigative approach. You will be able to commute to the offices in Chigwell for full-time work.
