Company Overview:
A fast-growing, PE-backed facilities management company in East London. They are seeking a hands-on Senior Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, compliance, and improvement initiatives.

Job Description:
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, compliance, consolidations, VAT, payroll, and implement best-in-class controls. You'll support strategic initiatives, ensure accuracy, and improve operational efficiency in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate monthly/periodic financial reporting to tight timelines; maintain high standards for financial records.
- Ensure VAT, corporation tax, and compliance obligations are met.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and analyses.
- Analyze working capital, including stock, providing insights and actions to optimize it.
- Support budgeting, reforecasting, and KPI tracking with scenario analysis.
- Document and review internal controls for project revenue, labor allocation, margin, and inventory.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance function-process, automation, controls, and data insights.
- Collaborate with contract managers, finance team, and senior leaders; adopt a hands-on approach as needed.
- Assist in statutory financial statement preparation, coordinate with auditors for timely delivery.
- Contribute to system enhancements and implementation projects.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Financial Controller.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA qualified) with a strong technical accounting background.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, and consolidations.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:
- Experience with revenue recognition, stock accounting, or in the facilities management/housing sector.
