We are working with a leading MEP Building services company and they have asked Alexander Associates to invite applications for the role of M&E Estimator. As an Estimator you will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of MEP projects and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organisation and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the tendering process.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid tendering process
- Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
- Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
- Build strong business relationships with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of basic estimating principles
- Familiarity with site drawing and ability to read plans
- Mechanical and Electrical construction experience preferred
