Location: Chigwell (we are looking for a driver due to exact location)

A leading organisation in the catering industry, is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join their team in one of their most beautiful locations. You would be working closely with a supportive Chef Manager who is focused on developing the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent catering experience within the last 3 years
  • Willingness to undergo training in food hygiene and equipment operation
  • Professional and caring demeanour
  • Good knowledge of allergies

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and plate delicious meals, including salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
  • Ensure workstations are set up for meal service.
  • Assist in the preparation of patient meal trays.
  • Serve meals to patients, staff, and special function guests with utmost professionalism.
  • Receive food deliveries and monitor temperatures.
  • Support Chefs with food preparation as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of premises, including equipment and utensils.
  • Replenish vending and coffee machines.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and complete necessary paperwork.
