Assistant Headteacher - Chigwell, Essex

Job Overview: We are seeking an outstanding and energetic Assistant Headteacher to join our School, a designated Outstanding Primary Residential SEMH School. As an Assistant Headteacher, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting children aged 5 to 11 years with complex behavioural, social, and emotional difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Foster a warm, homely, and happy environment for students.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Understand and address the unique needs of children with SEMH.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ability to participate in Physical Intervention (training provided).
