Role Overview: Alongside the Catering Manager you will prepare and cook high quality, delicious hot meals and desserts for pupils and staff. You will work closely with the Catering Manager to support the catering team to ensure the delivery of an efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of high quality, balanced hots meals and desserts
  • Deputise for the Catering Manager as required ensuring a smooth-running catering service
  • Assist with the menu planning and ordering of food and supplies
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and carry out cleaning duties daily alongside the catering team

Qualifications/Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Catering or similar
  • Health & Safety within the workplace
  • Familiar with the operation of catering services in a school setting or similar environment
