Welding Operative - Welding

Salary: £12 - £15 p.h. (DOE)

Location: Hainault, Essex

The Role:

My client is seeking a Welding Operative to support in their established Production Department on a permanent basis. Successful candidates must have engineering assembly and exposure to welding experience.

They are looking for dedicated workers coupled with manufacturing and engineering experience.

The Welding Operative:

  • General knowledge of an Engineering Environment
  • Perform a range of routine mechanical processes of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures
  • Metal working
  • Tig & Mig Welding Experience Essential
  • CNC Machine operation
  • Running and Operating Welding Machines
  • Ability to use measuring equipment, gauges, verniers
  • Ensure quality is of the highest standard at all times
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures
  • Work towards the company's Continuous Improvement ethos
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Previous assembly experience is essential
  • Ability to use own initiative and drive tasks to completion
  • Progression available
  • Problem solving skills
