Van Delivery Driver

We are seeking a Delivery Driver to cover long term sickness for our client based in Chilcompton.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting car parts to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery.

13 per hour PAYE.

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm.

Start dateMonday 31st March until at least the end of May, possibly will continue after this.

Candidates should possessat least 1 year commercial driving experience.

CandidatesMUST be 25 years or overfor insurance purposes.

Duties

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload goods.
• Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and assist in loading processes when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: 13.00 per hour
