We are excited to announce that Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit an Environmental Compliance Specialist for a global manufacturing firm working on their largest UK site in Bridgwater.

Responsibilities of the Environmental Specialist:
- Lead on environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to ISO 14001, IPPC, and EA permit requirements.
- Drive waste reduction initiatives by monitoring and improving the site's environmental performance, focusing on energy, water, and gas usage.
- Support environmental audits and ensure continued improvements in environmental management systems.
- Engage with site teams to enhance environmental awareness and drive sustainability initiatives.
A Successful Environmental Specialist will have:
- Demonstratable knowledge and experience conducting ISO 14001 audits.
- A degree (BSc or MSc) in an environmental discipline with a membership to IEMA a desirable.
- Experience working in environmental compliance, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG, or heavy industry setting.
