Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the monthly production of management accounts, ensuring they are accurate and delivered on time, including variance analysis for review by the Finance Business Partner.
  • Support the budget and forecasting process by preparing and providing relevant financial information, incorporating changes as directed.
  • Reconcile balance sheets and resolve any queries in a timely manner.
  • Review key overhead cost areas, offering detailed analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Proactively identify and drive improvements in processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to the accounting services team as required.
  • Escalate any issues promptly to ensure swift resolution.
Requirements:
  • Experience in preparing management accounts, including variance analysis.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate treatment and timing of financial transactions in line with company policies.
  • An organised and methodical approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
