Systems Accountant

£55,000 to £75,000 + Bonus + BenefitsChippenham / Hybrid / 2 Year FTC

I am exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, industry-leading company that is embarking on a major finance system transformation. To support their continued success and future-proof the business, they are implementing SAP and are looking for a Systems Accountant to play a key role in this transformation.

About the job:

  • Define and document key financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance workflows.
  • Support the implementation, configuration, and training of new system requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between Finance and IT to drive system enhancements.
  • Prepare and review financial system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the Finance leadership team in providing guidance and training for Financial Systems
  • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure system integrity.
  • Present data insights to management in a clear and actionable format.
  • Mentor and train new employees on financial systems during onboarding.
  • Work on finance-related projects to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of SAP and other finance systems
  • Drive change initiatives to enhance finance processes.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems—knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using Power BI would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable leading and supporting finance transformation projects.
