Assistant Accountant

Marks Sattin is working in partnership with an SME based in Wiltshire to recruit an Assistant Accountant. This is a 6-month FTC FULLY REMOTE ROLE.

The role would be a Assistant Accountant, providing support to Finance Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions.

This role will be paying between £28,000 to £35,000.

Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, bank reconciliations, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and insight to support decision-making.
• VAT returns
• Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Use of Xero
• Immediately available
• AAT level 4 or higher
• Has to have the right attitude to working collectively in a team and working from home.
