Security Installation Engineer

Chippenham

Full Time - Permanent

Hours - Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch

We are currently recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to join our client based in Chippenham.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Installing various intruder, CCTV and Fire and access control systems both locally and nationally as per successful quote conversions by the sales team.
  • Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
  • Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems and all other security systems
  • Understanding the clients’ needs and fulfilling all jobs required
  • Updating documentation including site schematics/drawings (if applicable)
  • Applying updates and accurate descriptions of works completed via SIMPRO to inform office of progress. Securing signatures from client of completed works.

You must have:

  • Experience as a multi-disciplined engineer with a good all-round knowledge of security Systems
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • A great communicator
  • Experience of front-line customer service will be preferential
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • You must be flexible to travel nationally with occasional hotel stays. This work is evenly distributed between the installation team to promote fairness as our client understands employees have families and other commitments.
