Part-time Accountant -Wiltshire - £35,000 - £45,000 FTE-2-3 days per week, flexible
I am working with anestablished SME based in Wiltshire who is seeking a hands-on and experienced account professional to step into a key role within their team. This position is available due to the retirement of their long-serving accounts colleague.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role in a supportive and flexible environment. The role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in an SME setting and can confidently handle a variety of accounting tasks.
The role includes:
- Processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining cashflow records.
- Assisting with payroll processing.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting financial reporting.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
What were looking for:
- Experience working in SMEs, with a hands-on approach.
- Proven ability to work independently and use your initiative.
- Qualifications are not essential, but AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications would be an advantage.
