Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vans to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any delivery-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar delivery role.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and local delivery routes in and around Slough.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required.
