An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Commis Chef at our Lacock Garden Centre near Chippenham.

The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for fresh food, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential.

Your days of work will include working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends, no split shifts or late evenings. Bank Holidays are required.

Commis Chef Key responsibilities :

  • Ability to assist in the preparation of food with basic knowledge of all sections of the kitchen.
  • Ability to work under supervision creating good quality food.
  • Ensure stock rotation and assist in stock deliveries.
  • You will need to show great communication skills.
  • Ensuring Company standards and specifications are met and maintained at all times
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines
