Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and highly motivated Safeguarding Business Support Officer to join the Safeguarding Team within the BSW ICB. This role is essential in providing administrative and secretarial support to the team, ensuring effective management of safeguarding projects and maintaining high standards of confidentiality. This Hybrid role is for an initial one month contract with the potential to extend 

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including preparing agendas, minute-taking, and managing team schedules.
  • Handle sensitive and potentially distressing information, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Coordinate projects, update data, and prepare reports to support safeguarding activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the team, managing complex inquiries and communications.
  • Support event planning, recruitment, and the onboarding process for new team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative or secretarial roles, preferably within the NHS or healthcare settings.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing tasks effectively under pressure
