1:1 Teaching Assistant / SEN Support Assistant - SN14

My client is looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to a named child, helping them thrive academically and emotionally. In this role, you will play an essential part in fostering confidence, inclusion, and success for a child who needs extra support—a truly rewarding opportunity to change a life. This role is available on a fixed-term basis until the end of the academic year, working on full-time hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support to help a child with their academic and emotional growth.
  • Encouraging self-esteem, inclusion, and positive behavior development.
  • Supporting the delivery of the English and Mathematics curriculum in a way that meets the child’s needs.
  • Assisting with classroom setup, teaching aids, and general learning resources.
  • Providing personal care and additional support where required.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Experience working with children in a 1:1 support role.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and staff.
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing personality.
  • Ability to create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
