My client, a warm and inclusive primary school in Lyneham, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child within the classroom setting. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide one-on-one support to a young learner with additional needs within a classroom setting.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher and experienced TA team to deliver tailored educational support.
  • Encourage and promote the child’s engagement, inclusion, and independence in learning activities.
  • Assist with daily routines, transitions, and part of the lunchtime period to provide continuity of care.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that aligns with the school’s values for life and learning.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND) is highly desirable.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
