Teaching Assistant - KS1 (EHCP Support) / SEN Teaching Assistant - SN14

My client, a welcoming primary school with a caring atmosphere, is looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. In this rewarding role, you'll provide targeted support for children with EHCPs, working closely with individuals, small groups, and full classes to make a real difference in their learning journey. This role includes 25 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 with 3 hours per week spent working as an MDSA on a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide individualized support for children with EHCPs in KS1, fostering their development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of engaging learning activities.
- Monitor and encourage pupils’ progress, supporting them to achieve their learning targets.
- Help implement SEND passports and behavior management strategies.
- Safeguard pupil welfare, assist with supervision, and promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
