Solar/ PV Monitoring Technician


Location: Hybrid Ideally within commuting distance of our Head Office in Brinkworth, SN15 5FD, but this is not essential


Salary: £25,500 - £30,000 + project related bonus
Working Hours: Full-time, including weekend rota

What Youll Be Doing


Monitoring & Analysis: Oversee solar farm performance from a system level down to individual components.

Tech-Savvy Work: Configure and access web interfaces of components via VPN.

Swift Fault Response: Detect and report faults to maintain optimal energy generation.


Data & Reporting: Assist in performance analysis, monthly reporting, and data compilation.


Target Optimization: Help ensure performance meets contractual targets.


What Were Looking For

Engineering Degree (Electrical or equivalent qualification)

Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

Good understanding of computer networks and Excel (Advanced level)

Knowledge of PV systems is a strong plus

Aself-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines

Willingness to work on a weekend rota
