We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to lead our client’s finance department. This pivotal role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company in Wiltshire, with an attractive salary package and annual bonus. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the finance team, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the business with key financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback to drive team performance.
  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly Group management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and analyze financial reports to identify any discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain precise balance sheet records, ensuring regular reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage the preparation of year-end accounts, working closely with external auditors to ensure smooth audits and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger to ensure consistent financial accuracy.
  • Optimize and maintain financial systems and processes, ensuring effective and compliant recording and reporting of all financial transactions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in implementing robust financial controls, processes, and reporting systems.
  • Leadership experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational skills, with a hands-on approach and an eye for detail.
  • Adaptable and proactive, willing to take on a variety of responsibilities as required.
  • Someone who's managed multiple countries within finance and can deal with fast international expansion
  • Commutable distance to wiltshire essential.
