Paraplanner Up to £42,000 per annum + benefits Chippenham, Wiltshire Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated Paraplanner to join a growing Client Services team. You will play a vital role in ensuring my clients' Financial Advisers deliver the highest quality client advice.

The role:

  • Prepare comprehensive Suitability Reports to support client consultations.
  • Conduct thorough Comparative Research to identify the most suitable financial products (savings, investments, pensions) for clients.
  • Analyse client information and understand their financial goals to make informed recommendations.
  • Work closely with Financial Advisers to gather information and prepare client suitability checks.
  • Respond efficiently to client queries while maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Prepare data-driven Annual Reviews to keep clients informed about their financial health.
  • Facilitate the implementation of agreed client recommendations.
  • Maintain detailed client files to ensure ongoing compliance and provide historical context.
  • Occasionally attend client meetings with Financial Advisers.

Person specification:

  • Hold a Certificate in Paraplanning or equivalent qualification.
  • Have previous experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills to dissect financial records and provide insightful commentary.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and helpful demeanour when interacting with clients.
  • Proficient in using a variety of computer software programs.
  • Have a deep understanding of the financial services industry and products like investments and pensions.
  • Able to write detailed technical reports to assist Financial Advisers.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • A true team player willing to collaborate and contribute to achieving business goals.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour for lunch) or 9am - 5pm (45 minutes for lunch).
