Location:Chippenham

Salary:£28,000 - £35,000

Hours:Full-time, Monday to Friday 8.30-5.00

The Role

Our client has a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join their team! You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of customers particularly farming customers. Promoting and cross selling their suite of products, including Financial Services & Risk Management Services and their range of Motor and Personal General Insurance products.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving sustainable business growth by identifying new sales opportunities with prospective farming customers and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.
  • Working collaboratively with the sales support and claims teams within the office.
  • Capitalising on existing relationships and delivering exceptional service to their customers.
  • Utilising the training, support and resources available in order to develop an in-depth understanding of their comprehensive insurance offering to the agricultural industry.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in Insurance is desirable.
  • An understanding of the Agricultural Sector is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Minimum GCSE C grade (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Demonstrate problem solving ability, good attention to detail and willingness to use own initiative and judgement.
