Job description
Prospero Teaching are looking for KS2 teachers to join us in making a positive difference to the lives of Chippenham pupils. Whether you're a recent ETC or experienced teacher, you will play a key role in delivering lessons to KS2 pupils.
As one of our valued KS2 Teachers, you will play a key role in supporting Key Stage 2 pupils as they develop and grow as individuals. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, whilst having the autonomy to bring in your own unique experiences. You'll have the opportunity for both flexible and long-term work, as well as a fantastic day rate and support network.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Chippenham
Position: KS2 Teacher
Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for an assigned class, management of class, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils
Start Date: Immediate
Rate of pay : £130 - £170 p/d
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00
EXPERIENCE
Essential:
*Qualified Teacher Status
Desirable:
*Experience of working in Primary School
*Experience of inclusive classroom practice
*An understanding of the transition process from KS1 to KS2.
*Previous experience of teaching reading using a range of strategies, including synthetic phonics.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold right to work in the UK
*Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
