Mobile ADAS & Diagnostic Technician
Location: Chippenham
Starting Basic Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 + Quarterly bonus up to £4,000 p/a.
Working Hours: 8am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS)
Extras: Quarterly Bonus, Work van provided, pension scheme, 22 days holiday + Bank holidays
Job Description for a Mobile ADAS & Diagnostics Technician:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile ADAS & Diagnostics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive technology, a keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards in ADAS installations and maintenance.
Responsibilities of a Mobile ADAS & Diagnostics Technician:
- ADAS Installation and Calibration: Install, calibrate, and maintain a variety of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues with ADAS components. Utilize specialized tools and software to ensure proper functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all ADAS installations, calibrations, and repairs. Provide comprehensive reports to management and customers as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee the proper functioning of ADAS features.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to other technicians and staff members on ADAS technology, installation procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand their ADAS needs, explain installation procedures, and address any concerns or questions.
Qualifications & Needs for Mobile ADAS & Diagnostics Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees in automotive technology are a plus.
- Proven experience as an Mobile ADAS & Diagnostics Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with various ADAS & Diagnostic technologies, including but not limited to adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and parking assistance systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for ADAS calibration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills or fault finding.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
