Our client is seeking a highly motivated Multiskilled Engineer to join their busy team, on a full-time permanent basis. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal efficiency and uptime of their automated production machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance on automated production machinery
  • Improve preventative maintenance routines
  • Manage mechanical and electrical fault finding, using three phase control systems
  • Fault finding & repairing hydraulic or pneumatic systems
  • Undertake small installation projects
  • Optimise machine efficiency through continuous improvement
  • Keep a clean and maintained work space, including transit areas to and from workshops and client visits
  • Support operations team in achieve targets
  • Comply to health and safety policies and procedures
  • Contribute to cost effective technical solutions
  • Participate in weekend call-out rota's
  • Adhered to budgetary requirements, but carrying out route cause analysis and predictive/preventative planning

Skills & Experience:

  • Obtained an engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience working within mechanical/electricals works, breakdowns, repair and fault diagnosis
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills, especially withing PLC'S, drives and inverters
  • Strong understanding of engineering diagrams, HV/LV Switchgear and electrical drivers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car is essential
