Are you a dedicated and compassionate Senior Carer with an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care? Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, providing hands-on care to residents while supporting and mentoring a team of Care Assistants.
  • Take responsibility for creating, reviewing, and implementing individual care plans for residents, ensuring their personal, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff, helping to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Oversee daily care activities, ensuring that high standards are maintained and that residents are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Support residents with dementia, personal care, and day-to-day activities, always focusing on their comfort and well-being.
  • Administer medications, monitor health conditions, and update care records accurately.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring open communication at all times.
  • Assist with training and development, ensuring all staff are up to date with best practices and relevant regulations.
  • Ensure that care practices comply with all policies and procedures, safeguarding standards, and the regulations set out by regulatory bodies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a care environment, with a strong understanding of dementia care and elderly care needs.
  • Proven experience in a senior or leadership role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic personality, committed to providing exceptional care.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality in a care setting.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to think on your feet and provide solutions in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
