We are working with an established global business based near Chippenham to recruit for a Cyber Security Architect to join the team, where you will be working on key transformation projects! Offering up to £85,000 with fantastic benefits such as bonus and hybrid working.

The Role

The Cyber Security Architect will play a pivotal part in shaping the IT Security team for a long-standing and industry leading business. You will lead the plan, build and run the Cyber Security roadmap, ensuring it fulfils business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems
  • Align organisational security strategy and infrastructure with wider business and Technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats
  • Plan, research and design robust security architectures for IT infrastructure and systems
  • Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessment
  • Identity security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures

About You

Applicants for the Cyber Security Architect role will have

  • Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cyber security and IT infrastructure
  • Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security
  • Experience implementing multi-factor authentication
  • Experience implementing security solutions
  • Experience with the NIST Cyber Security Framework or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to communicate (verbal and written) technical solutions
