About the Role:

Salt Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a leading technology provider in the defense sector to recruit a Customer Solution Architect. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative, secure solutions in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC), driving technical excellence and solution design for high-profile bids and deployments.

You will be part of a highly skilled team, supporting the end-to-end architecture of technical solutions that meet the client's requirements while ensuring seamless deployment. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in both supporting bids from a technical architect perspective and deploying the solutions that are won.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural expertise in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) technologies.
  • Support pre-sales and bids by developing comprehensive solutions that align with the client's needs.
  • Design and deliver secure, scalable solutions, ensuring all technical and business aspects are considered.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage solution architecture and deployment.
  • Be the point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth delivery process and addressing any technical challenges.
  • Contribute to the deployment of solutions across different sites as bids are won.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, with expertise in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Cisco, VoIP, video conferencing).
  • Solid experience in supporting and deploying solutions, particularly in secure environments (defence or government).
  • MoD SC clearance is essential (DV clearance is a bonus). Candidates must be UK Sole Nationals due to security requirements.
  • Experience with bid support and end-to-end solution design, including both technical and commercial considerations.
  • Strong technical background in infrastructure design, cloud technologies, and Unified Communications systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in secure environments with an understanding of BPSS eligibility processes.
