The firm is looking to expand its team by adding a Conveyancing Paralegal to their property department in Chippenham. The Role

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will assist fee earners with the following duties:

  • Compiling and sending out draft contract papers.
  • Drafting AP1s and TR1s.
  • Requesting searches and dealing with the Land Registry and SDLT.
  • Chasing outstanding enquiries and sending requisition statements.
  • Working closely with fee earners to ensure the efficient growth of the department.
  • Assisting with both freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and remortgages.
The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Have at least 2 years of solid experience working within Residential Conveyancing.
  • Be confident and professional in both written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Have knowledge of case management systems and online systems used for SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, etc.
  • Be proactive in communicating with clients and taking ownership of tasks.
  • Be committed to training and development and enthusiastic about the role.
