Planning & Scheduling ManagerAre you experienced in Production Planning and Scheduling? Do you have strong Technical SAP experience? If so, keep reading! The role:This is a role with direct responsibility for short and long-term factory planning and scheduling (replenishment, detail scheduling, material planning of RM and components, planning and executing subcontracting supply flows) in assigned production plants.To ensure the efficient and effective supply of the products produced in the territory through coordination of the Planning function. Duties include:
  • Sales & Operations Execution Meeting.
  • Coordinate work of detailed schedulers and material planners from aggregated monthly plan generate by supply.
  • Support fulfilment function with availability and OTIF.
  • Work with plant leaders on improving production adherence, discuss on daily basis any deviation from production plan. Resolve short term issues impacting products availability.
  • Manage raw material planning, material call offs.
  • Lead improvement projects in area of short and long-term factory performance.
  • Production planning, raw-material, subcontracting, components, and spare parts replenishment across a multisite operation
  • Responsible for customer service metrics: OTIF, Stock Availability HM & ICT, Stock Value of RM, Components and Manufactured Goods, Stock Days, Obsolete Stock Value, Clean Desk.
  • Production plan adjustment based on weekly review of monthly progress and order book (FC consumption) with detailed schedulers in all production facilities within territory.
  • Support of slow mover’s stock management process (obsolete, blocked stock, MTO without allocation) for assign production plants.
  • Continuous drive for optimising working capital, costs, and service.
  • Address all availability issues of Finish Goods within the team.
  • Lead and implement projects for continuous improvement of factory planning performance.
  • Assure H&S standards adherence.
To be successful in this role it requires high level of interaction with many stakeholders such as: site managers, distribution managers, finance, sales managers, customer service leads, fulfilment planners from other plants across EMEA, and project leaders from various departments. It also requires to development of the team successfully and embed best-practice ways of working.About you:
  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in production and material planning in big scale production.
  • Systems knowledge and experience of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP. (SAP is a Must)
  • Knowledge and experience of Reporting & Analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage and complete projects under a deadline.
  • Tactical and Operational Planning knowledge and experience.
  • People management (small teams, project teams).
  • Manufacturing production planning and stock management experience in a high-volume environment.
