Are you an Engineer looking to progress your career to the next level in a multi-faceted role, where you will play an intrinsic part in the growth of a highly successful company whilst boosting your income with commission?

Are you seeking to join a talented team as a Field Manager, responsible for driving the growth and profitability of their After Sales and Hire business in the Southern part of the UK. You'll be based in Chippenham, working from their head office, and will lead a small team of Field Service Technicians to ensure the smooth running of operations across the South of the UK, in a senior role, with a high degree of responsibility?

On offer is the opportunity to draw upon your leadership skills and technical ability to manage a variety of responsibilities, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations, to support the service provision and equipment installation for clients. You'll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships with customers, and providing exceptional customer service at all times.

The Role:

  • Promote the companies' solutions to new and existing customers to support sales of new equipment and installations.
  • Identify new customers and business opportunities to increase sales of equipment, spares, and hire services.
  • Inspect machinery at customer sites, provide service inspection reports, and generate quotations and service proposals.
  • Follow up on quotations to convert them into sales.
  • Advise customers on the best products to meet their needs.
  • Coordinate resources with Contracts Engineer and Installation Supervisor for service, installations, and commissioning in the region.
  • Manage the Regional Installation Supervisor for installation delivery in the region.
  • Develop the regional business plan with the Field Operations Manager.
  • Ensure sustainable regional activities and budgetary control for growth and delivery of After Sales.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Field Managers to optimize the use of spare resources between operational regions.

  • Background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Experience managing a team of Engineers
  • Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing/maintenance environment
