You will be in a pivotal role, responsible for the direction, coordination and implementation of the company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies. You will be making a positive impact upon a highly reputable organisation, directly adding value.The Role:

  • Lead SHEQ management, ensuring continual improvement and compliance with ISO standards.
  • Foster a positive SHEQ culture by engaging stakeholders and embedding best practices.
  • Develop and manage Huber's SHEQ systems in collaboration with management and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation and industry standards.
  • Facilitate audits from certification bodies, customers, and other parties.
  • Manage industry audits such as Achilles and CHAS.
  • Maintain IMS Health & Safety register and Environmental legal registers.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, ensuring thorough documentation and corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal SHEQ audits, oversee corrective actions, and produce management reports.
  • Deliver SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety awareness initiatives.
  • Manage document control to meet standards and operational needs.
  • Support frameworks, tenders, and customer inquiries.
  • Oversee equipment inspections, lifting, and calibrations.
  • Manage COSHH assessments and conduct DSE assessments.

The Person:

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Experience as a SHEQ manager
