Production Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to design and implement, oversee the production process, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products within budget and to the highest standards. The Production Manager will coordinate with various departments, monitor production operations, and implement strategies to optimise productivity, quality, and safety. This is an opportunity to help and innovative start transition from the R&D phase into production so new product introduction experience is vital.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Manager:

• Oversee the daily operations of the production department, ensuring products are manufactured on time and within quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Manage and lead production teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage and lead the Team.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, and quality control teams to ensure a smooth production workflow.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, budgets, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and inefficiencies.

The suited candidate for the Production Manager opportunity would have:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, having led a Team.
• Implemented production lines and processes from scratch
• Knowledge of production management principles, Lean manufacturing processes, and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Proficiency in production planning software and other related tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
