Purpose

To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school

Knowledge

Some knowledge of Health and safety regulations as they relate to the operation of cleaning equipment and dilution of cleaning materials.

Knowledge of COSSH and safe use of chemicals

Knowledge of cleaning best practises

Duties

Dusting, Sweeping, Vacuuming and Mopping surfaces in the classroom and hallways.

Cleaning and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash toilet paper and paper towels)

Taking out the garbage

Report any Health and Safety issues to supervisor, site manager and care taker.
