Production Supervisor

Manage and react to changes in priorities using proactive planning, working to production schedule and reporting at weekly production meetings.

Assist whenever required with activities on the shop floor

Strive for and encourage Continuous Improvement and raise and support opportunities to remove waste, risks and costs through best practice and lean tools

Lead and participate in teams to investigate, determine and implement corrective actions to resolve the root cause of non-conformance in products, processes or systems RPS (rapid problem solving) and engaging relevant parties when required

Ensure you maintain excellent communication skills, working effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers suppliers, ensuring confidentiality of all written and verbal communication

Identify and assist in the creation of work instructions (Standard Work Instructions) and procedures for defined processes within Operational departments

Ensure timely and accurate completion, and any issues raised through the appropriate channels

Carry out structured and audited training for your team and Standard Work Instructions

Liaise closely with the engineering and quality department to develop existing and new processes

Encourage good health, safety and environmental practices in line with company policies and procedures

Attending /representing your team at meetings when required

Manage daily and weekly production KPI Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Inventory
